The Woodward Avenue Action Association (WA3) represents a 27-mile public/private partnership among 10 local governments, two counties, the State of Michigan, local road commissions and hundreds of businesses and residents. Since its inception in 1995, the WA3 has grown into a regional collaboration working to strengthen Woodward Avenue as a business and visitor destination.

As a public/private partnership, the WA3 is achieving a model example of regional cooperation, diverse membership, and shared pride in celebrating our region�s most treasured asset � Woodward Avenue!

WA3 goals include community and economic development programs directed towards business development and retention, beautification, corridor sustainability and promotion, preservation and regional tourism.
